Description
This producer will work with all members of the Digital content team to ensure our Web sites are informative, up-to-date, lively, engaging, and interactive and a fun place for readers/users to visit. This producer will be part of a team that will ensure that Cincinnati.Com, NKY.com and Enquirer.Com and our increasing family of products are the primary news and information sources for our region. The producer will exploit all tools and applications available to ensure our sites are on the cutting edge of technology and rapid deployment of information in all forms.


Responsibilities
• Introduce new strategies and continuous improvements to overall mission and day to day challenges.
• Help shape Web site/s concepts and strategies
• Help produce sites by maintaining production schedule and linking/including internally produced and third-party content.
• Refresh sites by analyzing traffic, updating content, developing new features, integrating new tools and approaches.

Experience and qualifications
• 2+ years of Excel, HTML and FTP experience (ASP knowledge an asset)
• 2+ years of audio and video editing skills.
• Excellent and proven knowledge of XML, Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver and Photoshop.
• Excellent knowledge of Internet concepts and latest and emerging developments on the Web.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and thrive on problem solving and creating solutions.
• Effective in decision making.
• Ability to work well across functional groups.
• Ability to perform in a high-volume, multi-task/deadline oriented environment, as well.

Metrics
This producer is expected to track and contribute to a 30% increase in traffic to the Cincinnati.Com network in 2008.
