Was the Australian right to stop iiNet trial tweets?

We are testing out the new iPhone for various applications, as a reporting tool, especially to relay breaking news quickly, but also as a video, photo tool. Check this out, shot entirely with an iPhone and later edited in Final Cut. But all clips could have been emailed immediately after shooting to anyone:

Made several mistakes and the audio levels are a bit tricky, but it was very simple to deal with, quick, small and portable, nice tool to have.

I have made an English version of a presentation I held: Twitter as a tool for journalism.

It is a very basic introduction to some ways Twitter can be used by journalists.

Chris Amico has created a "New tools for new news" wiki-like site to help organize journalism tools (includes links to examples and tutorials) ...

Here's a Twitter question. Can you Tweet only to yourself as a notekeeping tool? In other words can I make my Tweets totally private. This would be for a participatory journalism project so that I wouldn't have to keep pulling out a notepad to jot down my thoughts throughout the day. I could just text message them. But I wouldn't want necessarily to make them public until I'm ready.
