- Thanks for your comment re. my post on 1981 online journalism, Dan ... BTW, I spent a bit over four years working in GateHouse myself. And while I've never officially worked in circulation, I remember years ago in another newspaper when it was expected that reporters who happened to be around the building late at night would hand-carry copies to people who didn't get their newspaper, for whatever reason.
