I am the associate director of Michigan State University's Knight Center for Environmental Journalism where I teach computer-assisted, investigative and environmental reporting. One of my classes experiments with citizen media on a wiki that targets environmental news and information in the Great Lakes region. In addition, we aggregate Great Lakes mainstream environmental media on Michigan's Echo at http://ej.msu.edu/news.php
GR's fine. Meegan's here and it's pretty good. When I first came to The Press, she was here. It's nice to work directly with her again. Teaching sounds rewarding.
It's been a seriously long time since we worked together at the LSJ. You might recall I worked in the graphics department with Don Wyatt, Steve Reed, Tim Jones and Julie (last name??) way back in the late 1980s. I've been with The Grand Rapids Press eversince. Not sure how long you worked for Booth's Lansing Bureau. I hope all is well with you.
