I spend my time writing about parish government and lots of other small-town things, and also getting lost while driving to random assignments in the middle of nowhere.
I love newspapers, and I find myself worrying more and more about their future.
This is my first paper job since graduating from college, and it's already turned me into a boring grown-up who wakes up at 5:30 a.m. almost daily. I don't know if I'll ever get used to that.
Um, you are not the lamest person in Lafayette, because IIIIII am the lamest person in Lafayette!
I sold my car on craigslist the other day for no reason.
So now I walk to work.
It's pretty good for stress, but it's REEEEEALLY hard to go shopping, which, of course, could be a good thing.
Am still waiting on my txt to go have that glass of wine!
