Hi Henry,

Thanks for the note! We'll do a few webinars in the new year, but in the meantime I'm happy to give you a walk through of the sites and features. If you want to send me your email, I can send you an invite link (or you are welcome to sign in on the registration page www.publish2.com/registration).
Basic premise is that it is the easiest way for journalist -- whether web-savvy or not -- to link to stories (any web content) and organize it for their own research or use it to publish as custom aggregations on their sites.
Some ways news orgs/blogs have used this: http://blog.publish2.com/examples
Looking forward to talking and hearing more about your site and some of the projects that you are working on!
Best,
Tammi

Henry-- Nice to meet you so to speak. I'm from Apalachin, NY. Went to school at SUNY Brockport and ended up staying in the area. I like Rochester very much. You will find this amusing:: we are supposed to get quite a bit of snow tonight making for a rough AM commute. Don't you miss lake-effect snow??? ps) i'm brand new on this site - so if i should know something or be "doing" something - don't hesitate to let me know. :)

Glad you like the site. I haven't met Patrick yet, but Philip thinks he's great ... you should find the videos Philip has done of the Holland Land Office. Patrick very highly regarded around Batavia.

Thanks. We're at the very beginning of our disruptive innovation after recently finishing the American Press Institute's Newspaper Next seminar. I'm just hpping to connect with people who are doing it/have done it. We can learn from each other, I'm hoping.

Good to hear from you again.

I found this site because I got a resume from Dionne Waugh, who mentioned that she had worked for you. I googled her and wound up at WiredJournalists.

So, I was just thinking. You should update your blog. (Not the East/West one, the other one.) If you want a topic: post about all the election coverage and how we're capitalizing on new media to make it come alive. Live-blogging, twitter, UStream video, photo galleries, crowd-sourcing, breaking news, etc. I'd write it, but you're more view from the top. I've commented on my view from the bottom a little on my own blog.

Thanks, Henry. Some people sure took offense at it.
