Prior to entering the program I was a journalist for about a decade and my career included stints at the Associated Press (former Soviet Union), Agence France-Presse (former Soviet Union), The Prague Business Journal, The Baltic Times (Riga, Latvia), The Homer News (Homer, Alaska), The BVI Beacon (Road Town, Tortola, British West Indies) and the Williamsport Sun-Gazette (in my hometown of Williamsport, Penna.).
