Thanks John. About all I've got now is a Twitter account linked to a Facebook fan page for a cloumn I write. This way the facebook updates are tweeted out. And I keep getting new followers on that account without really doing anything, which makes...
This may be a little bit outside the normal topics of Wired Journalists. Yet I find it to be a very interesting topic, namely how the major social network sites treat their users.
The ambitious Norwegian Consumer Council recently did a major stud...
Michele,
I have thought about doing something similar. I do wonder, though, whether presenting sales messages like this one a regular news site as a Twitter feed actually will work. Maybe people will not really catch what it is. And you for sure ...
Spencer,
I think social media is here to stay and that it will continue to play an increasingly important role. Whether it will be Twitter, Facebook or some new services which will be big in a few years I don't know. For sure we will see more soc...
I have to confess to being a bit of a Twitter hater, but that said, I'm wondering if it doesn't perhaps have a commercial application. I've thought about putting a Twitter feed on my main page and letting advertisers run one-shot event or sale lis...

I can think of a couple colleagues maybe. I don't know of journalism schools, but I can ask around. It's a tough search. It's difficult to find someone with good enough English AND an understanding of what absolute accuracy means, so that there's no mistake in translation, and then those people who are that good are often (we hope) already working full time.
Can you tell me a little bit more about your project (maybe privately) and how long you would need someome for? That can help me narrow it down.
Sweet shots by the way. Looks like you already know Cambodia a bit.
