Maybe it suspects I'm only playing along because of peer pressure?? Damn, it's perceptive.... Scary.

hey, i just sent you an e-mail, then I finally got around to checking the link to this site that you sent me a while back. looks like a pretty cool way to keep in touch with folks. and hi, kathy!
My photo is with my older daughter when I went to visit her last summer to see her perform in the Nashville Shakespeare Festival. Jennifer and I are going to Nashville next month for her graduation. and I'm flying to Dallas this weekend for the wedding of an old college buddy's daughter. what a jet-setter -- ha!

Hey John, thanks for the invite. This site is pretty clean. I like the feel. Hope all is well. How do you like the gig?

John! Sorry I missed you today. I have bad timing... believe me. I'm looking forward to your call. Hope all is well in Washington. I miss you guys. And the mountains... and, between you and I, the snow! I'm not digging my new flat, steamy turf.

Hi John,
See, this social networking stuff really works: you contact me and a mere week later I'm already getting back to you. Like a 2.0 bolt of lightning. I bet carrier pigeons would get the job done quicker.

Hey, I never thanked you for that tip re. an old-man bar in Newport. Now my friends think I'm the all-knowing bar guide. No, don't worry, I revealed that the oracle of the NW-tavern scene gave me the tip.

Thanks for the invite.

Don't know. Heard there's a move afoot by some local biz folks who might be interested. Singleton tried to purchase this paper the last time round, and bid higher than Seattle, so they might be interested as well.

Oh, Faith! Not that that lazy-eyed, fake-broguing, beer angel would remember you. But it's nice thinking someday, he might.

John! How I miss you. I'll never find a boss -- or friend -- like you. I'm hoping to migrate back to you some day -- if you'll take me back. :)
