Web-strategy for a student-run online news magazine

Hi guys. I've come here first as I know you're always quick to offer advice and help. I hope you can help me out this time.

So, as editor of InJournalism.co.uk, I am tasked with building our profile, developing a web strategy and distributing ourselves online. I should explain, InJournalism is an independent of the University (of Sunderland), student-run online magazine. As you see it now is before the new… Continue

Converging, New-Media, Personal-Branding and all things unnervering.

Hi there.

I set up this page all of 10 minutes ago, after absorbing the advice on this month's topic over on Tomorrow's News Tomorrow's Journalists.

I am fairly new to this process of personal-branding myself, something so ostentatious and hard-nosed working me into a shy fit of feeling out of my depth. But, when I look around at my peers, it would seem that I am an early-starter in this game. I am exactly half way through my Journal… Continue

Hi Josh. Just wanted to let you know that I tried to leave a small comment on your Blogspot, but the verification letters wouldn't show up at all. Make sure others aren't running into the same problem and it's not just me.

BTW, my comment was, in essence, that you can learn CAR and all that rubbish on the Internet and the library for much, much cheaper than 350 pounds.

Actually, 350 pounds cheaper.
