I'm a rising-senior convergence journalism student attending the University of Missouri and a self-described nerd about all things journalism. I'm trying to work and learn as much as possible, so chat me up, let's talk!

What would I focus on? Anything that would prepare me for what lies ahead in the field. There's a massive payoff for whoever gets the model right. Every day, ideas are born and ideas die. It's exciting and scary.
At the moment, I'm trying to do the freelancer thing in Springfield, IL, while searching for the next big break. Not sure what the future holds. Maybe something to do with Blagojevich.
Although, I am considering Mizzou for grad school. A former professor of mine has convinced me to give it a try.

I've also considered starting my own online publication, but I don't think I'm ready yet. Still have to work out some annoying kinks, like what to publish, and how to pay the employees!
I've heard a lot of wonderful things about MU's convergence program. Are you enjoying it?
