- Hi there! I'm a beat reporter at The Orange County Register where I write, report, produce, operate a camera (video and still), edit video, and manage Web site content.
I graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Broadcast News and an outside emphasis in Creative Writing. I got my start behind the scenes at a major Los Angeles TV station, and a very small one in Henderson, Kentucky.
My news stories aim to inform readers of the changing issues in their world and how it affects their everyday lives whether it deals with crime, education, politics, business, or the new construction project down the street.
For a feature story, I’ll look to the culture scene – what’s new, undiscovered, and upcoming – that includes events, restaurants, technology, the green movement, fashion, beauty, style, entertainment, and travel.
