so in your opinion how important do you think it is that photographers in journalism transition into videography? I know that its better to have both skills, but do you believe it is an important aspect for other/inspiring photojournalists?

They are teaching us writing and reporting, but there is a huge emphasis on doing everything. Video, audio, and photos in addition to the written stories, and everything we do goes on the web. I'm taking a blogging class and have a required marketing class next quarter. The curriculum has been changing a lot as they try to figure out what to do. They say there's demand for journalists who can do everything, is that what you see?
