Bio: I started in journalism about 15 years ago as a 10-hour-a-week general assignment reporter for a group of weeklies in and around my hometown. I was immediately hooked, and went full-time shortly there after. Time-lapse: reporter-assistant editor-editor-managing editor-editor in chief - all with the same weekly group. As EIC, I oversaw the newsroom side of the online/newsroom partnership that incubated Wicked Local. Now, as director of online content, I support/encourage/sympathize with our newsroom staffers as they strive to put out great newspapers and website content.
