I just realized that if a job ad specifically says not to email a resume or clips it's not the job for me. My best clips are best served on the web, and I think it's especially important for an editor to see that I can write my own broadcast scripts, film my own video, take my own pictures, and that I know the basics of code in addition to writing compelling articles and features.

I started a new job, and one of the smaller projects I've been given is to redesign the company's YouTube channel and create banners and icon for the page. Let me know what you think! (I'm still working on all the branding, so ignore the banners, etc.)

My Musings Super Mega Edition

I just learned how to build a simple Flash intro. I'm very excited, I can't wait to get my site off the ground next week. Although, it will probably be a rough Beta site for a while.

I'm sitting in a Starbucks, drinking a corporate caramel frappucino. I'm an interesting case in reading habits; I just read The Tampa Tribune to front to back THEN opened up my laptop to catch up on the latest news on the interwebs.

I don't want to give up my overstuffed Starbucks green lounger for the peril and stress I face at my mother's house.

Ah well.
