I'm pondering buying an audio recorder of my own since the paper doesn't have nearly enough to go around. Cost is a significant issue. Can anyone recommend something that's cheap but provides quality audio? If it matters, we do most of our audio editing in Audacity.

Thanks!

I bought an Olympus DS-30 a few weeks ago and it gets really good quality audio for a $130 recoder. The Zoom Handy Recorder H2 has been mentioned as an affordable (~$200), easy-to-use and high-quality option on a few journalism blogs.
