I cannot say enough wonderful things about CoverItLive.com! Today is our paper's launch of our new design and we've experienced some "issues" with DNS propogation which was confusing for some of our readers. Being able to have a live chat running to discuss the redesign and kinks with it has been helpful and frankly, fun!

I enjoy having this option available to us and without sounding too much like a commercial for the software - it's pretty dang easy to use. So far, the reception to the redesign has been good and the immediate feedback is really helpful for us in finding trouble spots.

Highly recommend this software!

Well the live chat was a hit! Not only did our readers get to get some immediate responses to their questions and problems, but it had the added bonus of giving US immediate feedback on bug fixes and navigation issues. Overall the responses both to the chat and our redesign were positive and we got some helpful tips too.

I ran the chat for 2 days and it was slower on the second day, but we still had a few people pop in to tell us what they thought.

We're definitely going to find more uses for Cover It Live. It's easy to use, offers a LOT of cool tools to embed (polls, video, images etc.) and is a lot of fun to boot.

That is a great idea. I was thinking about setting up another blog to handle this sort of thing, but this will be much more immediate and interactive. I wonder if people will miss that live functionality once it's gone. a quibble: it was tough to find the chat.
