Wired Journalists

It's worth noting that two issues of The Convergence Newsletter came out in June (we got a bit behind in May).

In the May-June issue, we take a look at online community and some of the work needed to create a successful site.

In the June issue, we have excellent material on convergence internationally, especially pieces by Fulbright Scholar Alice Klement and one of her students about how technology redefines teaching convergence in Ethiopia.

The best way to get to all this is through our index blog, http://convergencenl.blogspot.com

As always, we are looking for articles. Our August issue is on convergence in the classroom and October is convergence in newsrooms.

We also have a good article coming in September from Edgar Huang about the practical research he's been doing into video streaming technologies.

if you have an idea for an article, e-mail me at dfisher@sc.edu
