Get wired to win.
Canon ZR900 and others???
I've produced several online videos for our newsroom and am now looking to buy an
inexpensive camcorder for further experience. Here's what I'm looking for:
- In the $250 and less bracket
- MiniDV format
- Editing format compatibility on a Mac - mainly in iMovie
I've heard the Canon ZR800 is good for its mic output but I've heard horror stories that the
footage picks up the motor sound. I've also used a SonyHandycam DCR HC28
but my Mac doesn't always recognize it and the footage freezes in editing mode. Right now I'm looking at the new Canon ZR900 - has anyone tested it out yet?
Any thoughts on what others have used would help.
