About Me:
I'm a staff photographer at my daily broadsheet which services a large geographic area, but mainly the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. We have a staff of only 7.5 photographers with a circulation of around 120,000 daily and 161,000 on Saturdays. Though I am not a writer the recent move towards video and multimedia has piqued my natural interest in telling stories visually.

Mike: Welcome to Canadian, eh? Good to see someone there who isn't one of my students. I'm hoping that the group can become a place where we Canadians can explore what makes our journalism different, and a place where Canadian journalists can share their ideas, achievements, opinions, etc.
