- *I have been a reporter for Messenger Post for about a year.
*I have also worked as a reporter for the Tonawanda News (Greater Niagara Newspapers).
*I graduated from St. John Fisher College with a B.A. in Communications/Journalism.
As a kid, I always dreamt of being a newspaper reporter. At age 12, I printed the first edition of the Family Gazette -- a quarterly newspaper for my dad's side of the family.
Then it was onto forming my high school paper, the Hilton View. I've also worked on my college papers as well (the Monroe Doctrine at MCC and the Cardinal Courier at Fisher). By now, I guess you could say I'm a real veteran at this. :)

I've spent most of my life in Rochester, and was the D&C's news editor until 2004. Just thought I'd say hi and hope all is well in Ra-cha-cha.

I am a 1981 graduate of SJF and I worked in Rochester at the Democrat & Chronicle for 25 years. My husband, John McGinnis, taught communications/journalism classes at Fisher from 1980 until 1999.
