Nice Dan - I'm taking Campaign 2008 with Mike Conklin too. I'll see you there. I'm also taking Social Responsibility of Journalism with Bruce Evensen.

I am a HUGE hockey fan. Definitely my fav sport. I had a Mini Pack with the Sabres the last few years, and I'm still going to game in Buffalo this year on 12/22 vs. Pittsburgh. I'm actually going to be blogging about the Blackhawks for www.windycitizen.com soon, so be checking there for me when the season starts. That's awesome you're a season ticket holder. Let me know if you can't make it to a game and maybe I'll buy some tix from you now and then (if you're cool with that).

I also enjoy baseball (lifelong Yankees fan - Tough Year - But I'm rooting for the Cubs right now) and football (go Bills).

I just moved into Chicago last week and I've never lived in a big city before (grew up in suburban Buffalo), but I'm looking forward to it. Already love it so far.

Hey Dan, I'll be a grad student in DePaul's J-School starting next week. I don't know anyone else in the program yet, but found your page here. How do you like it and will you be taking any classes this fall?

Cool. I've been emailing w/ Bruce Evensen to get more info. How many students are in your class? What's the age range? And are you learning any journalism basics (writing drills, reporting, etc) in addition to the multimedia stuff? I have a background in journalism, so I'm not too worried, but always appreciate feedback on my writing.
